Finding MTR tenants

Any ideas or suggestions on how to list your property with the appropriate travel nurse organizations, to rent out a fully furnished brand new townhouse that is super close to 3 hospitals?

Regardless of the location, you first want to figure out what type of guest your property is most suited to. Travel nurses typically want 1/1 and 2/1 and 2/2 units. 3 bedroom and above probably is not going to do well with travel nurses. There's a common misconception that they travel in groups and like to share a house. This is most often not the case and when they are willing to share they a) expect to pay considerably less per room and b) expect their own bathroom. Locations close to hospitals are great, of course. So, if your property meets these expectations then travel medical professionals may be a great guest type. Just know that Florida pays some of the lowest rates in the country for travel medical pros so price your unit accordingly and plan to reach out to other guest types to fill the gaps.

To target travel medical professionals, start with Furnished Finder. It's the OG of listing platforms for this demographic although nowadays all types of travelers are using it to find furnished housing. Just know that it is not an OTA - they don't book through FF. They only find the unit and may reach out to you if they're really interested but you have to do the actual booking process offline. FF also requires a lot of work on your end to follow up on matched and unmatched leads. It's not as passive as Airbnb. You might also want to list it on Airbnb, Zillow, Apartments.com and local and regional social media pages targeting your guest avatar.

Good luck!
