Short term rental

Lynn Wong
Posted

Hello everyone,

I really want to rent my house to a Section 8 voucher person; however, she is waiting for her voucher to be reissued because she wanted to move out of her apartment. I got a good referral about this potential tenant. But I need tenant asap.  I am thinking to list it as short term rental. Any recommendations? Our house is in Elk Grove, Sacramento. TIA!

Hey @Lynn Wong. So I agree with both @John Underwood and @Sarah Kensinger.

If it is actually legal, you would have to get it all furnished and ready to rent. That could take a few weeks.

How long on the tenant to get the voucher? Are there others who are all ready to go that would work?
