I can understand if it's a nice high 60s or '70s day and you want to bring in some fresh air, but they often do it when it is more extreme temperatures with complete disregard that the climate system is running.

An area with good and safe parks to visit with the family safe neighborhood and where the climate is not too crazy.

But there are places which are good to visit, and has good climate.

Climate desirable. 

I guess what I'm trying to say is that in the beginning of my career as property manager investor, I really would want to control this crazy problematic tenant and get her out asap and would have been insulted and offended at her creating this adversarial climate by calling the code enforcement, etc.

Having been in even a colder climate freezing lines are definitely no fun.

The Iowa side is best due to lower property taxes, business friendly climate and more landlord friendly. 

I can attribute the good fortune I have to doing things I said I'd do when it was hard, and sticking with financial obligations when walking seemed to make better sense.Having said all this, it is easier to see this in today's climate as a business decision and businesses' primary function is to stay alive.

I'm just getting started in RE investing while in the market to relocate to a warmer climate.
