I can see why you are annoyed, but the amount of time you will spend on trying to get this appraiser a light reprimand (which is all he would get because he will have an explanation like above) will not be worth it.

The can decorate the back yard but it can't be an annoyance/disturbance to neighbors.

They may be a good paying tenant, but they annoy you to death with every little thing wrong in the home.Obviously I pride myself on getting real repairs, repaired quickly.

Secondly, showings will be annoying to tenants.

Mention it to everyone even if it seems annoying.

The property is only about $1k more than we’d pay for a rental so it’s not a huge risk but it would be annoying to have to move my 3 kids a 2nd time in a few months if this parking ticket business doesn’t work. 

I like the idea of touching base throughout the year, but not being overbearing/annoying.

If you don't plan on living there I would recommend keeping it close to your primary residence or on the way to and from an area you travel frequently (Like work or something) Driving an hr or so out of the way each time there is an issue will really start to be annoying after a while trust me!
