I think the safest bet is to take a 6 month forbearance and stash the cash and attempt to do a loan modification that also lowers your interest rate and adds the 6 months to the back end of the loan.

Even when I was a W-2 employee, I stashed everything I had and saved up so that I could build my businesses and get out from under my employer's thumb : )I don't exactly have a process map/tree like you posted, but I had some general guidelines that I followed:- Keep personal expenses under $1,500 per month ALL IN.
