I worked for the village for a few years as a police officer prior to the department disbanding in 2014.

The other condo I have is actually not yet mine - its a pre-construction condo in the East Village that I made a 10% down payment on back in late 2013.

Currently the land is a .3 acre building lot within the village with all utilities already at site (which limits my hookup expenses), with a hole in the ground as this is where the foundation was. 

It's in an extremely desirable country village in southern UK, 2 hours from London, previously a school building but with planning permission to convert it into a residential property.

Throw out the list price and offer based on what you are comfortable with.These are places I like in my market of Columbus, Ohio:North Linden, South of Main, Vassor Village, Woodland Park, MT Vernon, Milo-Grogan, Franklinton, Merrion Village, Hungarian Village, Southern Orchards, Driving Park, Olde Towne East, Franklin Park, King Lincoln, Old Oaks, Livingston Park are all but not limited to some areas in Columbus, Ohio I think will gentrify quickly and make for great long term buy and holds.

I've purchased vacant property, rezoned the land, worked on grading plan for last 6 months with village.

Neighborhoods to look at:East English Village Indian Village West Village Islandview North End Boston Edison Mexicantown Grandmont Bagley University District Palmer Park Sherwood Forest

And then there is this one: "Impressive renovated home offered in Riverside Village with in law apartment AND separate 3/3 apartment for substantial short or long term rental income potential!"

But when I advertised them, I had a lot of interest -- people are begging for 3/2 rentals in that school district.Unfortunately, I feel that in the regular "vinyl village" type rentals that families want, the sales prices are going higher faster and the rental prices are not keeping up so that you can reach the 1%. 

The village of Oak Park is very strict with permits and licensing.
