I'm originally from Ohio (a totally different market than NOVA) so I was surprised when I moved to Reston to learn that NOVA multi-fams are basically non-existent.

I'm working primarily in the NOVA area with an emphasis in Prince William County.

Must definitely be a by product of the area (though I practiced in NoVa from '87-'97 and never saw it).

I'm pretty sure no one else offers it in the Bay Area, so it's not unreasonable to assume that your lender will become the only one offering it in DC/NoVa/MD (that youtube video is a couple years old and only has 1581 views as of this post- this is flying under everyone's radar), which certainly bodes well for you.

I was going to make my first purchase in the summer but a deal presented itself and I purchased a property in Nova Scotia.

I currently have a condo unit in a larger complex that I rent out in Northern Va, along with three lake houses that I rent out seasonally in NY, and a beach condo rental in FL.I'm looking to start getting more into the game in the DC/NoVa area.

So the term is somewhat silly in that context.When I jumped to that process, I first contracted a combination of PM or licensed agents to do the work needed, then over time I consolidated my empire back into NOVA.
