i was all over probate in the last couple of months. look the house over the county records , if its under "estate of XXX XXX" it didnt go through probate or its processing. take the name and run a search in the probate court records and youll know if its in probate or not. you'll also see there who is the executor(the guy who appointed to execute the will and has the power to sale the property) and who are the beneficiaries(the people who gonna get the goods, usually the executor is one of them).
