I saw these recent posts below and found them helpful for how to evaluate a PM or just what to watch out for. 

We don't recommend that but were watching closely more fore science :)  The automation with Turno and Schlage encodes is by far the biggest help plus it gets a little discount on the property consolidation with Pricelabs. 

These factors didn't keep me from buying though, while watching some other small markets in the region where average nightly rents were sometimes higher.

I named a few already in the post above and in my video (i.e. 24 hour access to new properties before going public, assigned to an investment strategist).If you are truly interested to see if it would be even worth it, you should just go watch one of RTR's videos explaining the academy and see if it's something you would be interested in. 

Are there any videos or demonstrations I could watch on how to set each property up to track on a Mac?

He ended up losing a fairly inexpensive watch and a few hundred dollars but could have been worse.
