Hello, I recently closed on a house that has a walk-out basement in Thompson Station TN.

I am a new investor trying to househack in Bryan/ College Station, Texas. 

The sticker shock is real: From grocery stores to gas stations, you can't escape it.

The property is located a few blocks away from a downtown chicago suburb with a (Metra) train station that'll take you downtown.The major complication is that it has tenants with 6 months left on the lease at $1500 that is managed by a professional property management company.

We also visited Thompson Station and decided that was a little too far out for us.

(This can also affect the depth of your sanitary sewer and depending on the answer to #2, could require the development to have a lift station)4.

Found it interesting during the peak of covid how airbnbs around Emory performed well with so many traveling and on-call nurses being stationed in the city.

I do understand that you could be stationed somewhere else soon but the demand of rent in southern california are so high and always going up!

I was stationed (US Coast Guard) in NOLA for a couple of years many many moons ago, can't wait to see it again!
