You're looking at three very different situations (slab, pier-and-beam, and pier-and-beam with basement) and it would be a disservice to say anything other than, "get a few quotes."

You probably have a building on a pier-and-beam foundation, which means that leveling the floors can be pretty simple (for a foundation company).

Certainly, if you start messing with foundations, joists, girders, load bearing walls, steps, decks, headers, studs, trusses, beams, rafters, roofing, drainage, etc. you better have someone that knows what they are doing.
