California just enacted a statewide ban on discrimination on taking Section 8.

This is a rhetorical question, because I know we don't really know, but... I am concerned mainly because the relief being offered to landlords (mortgage forbearance) is not beneficial enough when compared to what ten...

I have not followed up on this, but I believe that means section 8 housing you may have.For me, I believe Cincinnati and Hamilton county both placed bans on evictions before the state put a statewide ban in place, so again there are many different jurisdictions that can control this and may be putting out their own rules.

Residential Landlords, Tenants, and Property Owners in...

I read a previous forum that was posted 6 years ago regarding being banned from the messaging system.

. - I would recommend holding off until after the ban is lifted., especially if this is your first deal.

and airbnb owners, Dallas county completely banned them.

One property owner in Berkeley,“a tenant threatened to withhold rent because of a new ban on evictions,” even though the renter is retired and saw no change in income. her tenant requested a 40 percent rent reduction despite making $172,000 a year at a major tech firm.

I am not saying I agree 100% with the ban on evictions but I think it is more complicated than you are considering.
