The number of buildings greater than 10 stories - even downtown - could be counted on 2 hands with fingers left over when I was a kid.We had an entire commercial warehouse district on the north side of the baseball stadium that has been almost completely demolished and now trendy multi-use (art studios on the bottom floor, apartments above), 10-20 story buildings have gone end with a trendy new name (River North, in case you're wondering what area you should have bought in 8 years ago).

I'm not going to pay anyone for the knowledge I can learn somewhere else for free.If it was an ongoing networking group has you spend $40 for ticket at cool, trendy location but you get a couple beers and some snacks for free, that's one thing.Shelling out that kind of cash, in my opinion, is an absolute waste for information you can probably learn here for free (or $30 a month if you decide to go PRO).

Obviously, there are corrections within a cycle (and scandals), but the overall trend is up.On top of that, buy and hold strategies have a 10,20, to 30 year horizon.
