A good idea is especially if you partner with people who could guide you on the first deal then you get to learn as well as invest.There's loads of stories on BP of people who started with less money and got the ball rolling - maybe you will see something that inspires you to get started sooner?

We've also done some private lending to larger self storage developers as well as secured a nice sized HELOC on our property in hopes of using it on our next project.Our goal now is to build out our rental portfolio faster than we have been to try and gain financial freedom within the next 5 years or sooner

A local REIA supported/supports the title company I've been using, and until this transaction involving ground rent, I haven't had problems (because the past transactions have been simple).Closing was set for 24 July, but has been delayed to 10 August (or possibly sooner) because HUD has not put the title of the home into their own name.
