That is where I live/work and I make regular weekly trips to downtown Portland to meet up with friends socially.

There are generally better returns in Ladson, Goose Creek, Moncks Corner, Hannahan, North Charleston etc. then the neighborhoods close to downtown at entry level price points. 

I host the Salt Lake REIA downtown luncheon on the third Friday of every month at Legends Sports Grill on 200 West and 700 South.

We both liked the Morristown area for low taxes and because of the downtown.

I reckon we just need a little support approaching our first “long flip” if you will :) We either want to be in 29407 or downtown or Folly Beach (I know we are dreaming) but we are not afraid of a challenge!

Thats basically two 30ft lots, in any area close to downtown.  

I live in Downtown Tampa, which seems to be a high potential market for rental properties at the moment.

You might want to consider certain areas of East Bakersfield and Downtown, as there is improvement happening in these neighborhoods.

Northside imo is hipster heaven and getting better every day.... probably the best/most centrally located neighborhood in the city- near UC, downtown, and heavy manufacturing areas.
