I think they're having as large, or larger impact, than an employee with lots of stock that may or may not be vested for some time. correct in certain area it's known the area is being purchased heavily by asian investors

They are stunning places, and with so much money around ( especially from Other countries w/ how popular CA is )  I guess there's enough ppl willing to pay outrageous prices to deal with insane policies and other madness,  for the incredible weather/ views.

That's the fun part of "land" speculation right Jay ;-) lol btw that too is very common in asian country especially when the land is developed into resort , say something like in bali or thailand...

The views were stunning, it was just my wife and I (and the photographer), we got amazing pictures, paid a fraction of the cost -- then we had a party after our honeymoon and celebrated with friends and family (much less expensive as venues didn't see this as a "wedding").
