You should be in ignite or capers in training I think they call it now.

I suggest this book to people looking for ignite a fire in themselves or get someone start on the journey.

Turned out a screw had been driven right into the igniter wire so it wouldn't spark that burner. 1 in a million shot.

This includes the outside termination and the connections at and internal to the furnace.Combustion gases must be analyzed and compared to the unit specifications.The blower access door needs to be checked to make sure it makes a tight seal at the furnace.The fresh air intake grills and louvers need to be checked for blockage.The heat exchanger needs to be inspected for rust and corrosion.The burners need to be checked for proper ignition, burner flame and flame sense.The drainage system needs to be checked for blockage and/or leakage.

This process has really re-ignited my passion for reading for pleasure, not just medical texts or research journal articles.I do want to take just a moment to say thanks to all of the contributors to this website.

That is a gas stove, at least from what I can tell, and what is happening is that the gas is being turned on but it is not igniting.  

Fuel oil is not especially volatile, but it stinks and if it does ignite, the conflagration will be formidable.
