She has mentioned that some firms have training programs but they are not always paying positions.To be clear, I'm seeking an employment position, not a apprenticeship. 

Just wanted to say hi and thank the creators for making this website and community, i just stumbled upon it in some research and have yet to do a through digestion but i wanted to say hi especially to those in the Northwest.Also if someone in the greater Seattle area is willing i am looking for a un/paid internship or apprenticeship just to get my feet wet in this sector, i have been an investor in stocks and all that jazz for some time but want to expand as i am starting my career trek.

This along with analyzing lots of deals in your area will put you in a great position to identify potential investment properties.Another idea depending what your longer term goals are could be to look into an apprenticeship program. 

My suggestion is some type of apprenticeship program.

@David Avery Thanks for your response but I'm currently going through an electrical apprenticeship while also going through online building contractor school.

But at the end of the day I will eventually be expected to develop my own network of clients.....even with this "apprenticeship" I will not immediately have a network of clients - how difficult would this be?
