hey BP family,I’ve run into a bit of a roadblock, I’m direct to agent and I’ve wondering how to get around the new NAR settlement, as soon as I hop on a call with the agent, they ask if I’m represented and then hang up the phone no matter if I say yes or no.

If that happens, you can negotiate a settlement with them outside of court or show up and defend yourself in front of the judge.

You will  either wire the funds to the title company or bring a cashiers check made payable to the title company to settlement.

Most real buyers will have agents and will put it in their offer that the payment for the buyer agent come from the settlement funds.

I have spoken to a couple of attorneys but they all want retainers of $10-20K, which if I was guaranteed a settlement I would gladly pay, but I understand that is not how it works.
