At first blush it looks like a $290k asking price home would demand $179-250 per night and the season is most of the year.

I learned my lesson on that one.. you really need a deep dig into your asbestos rules.. nothing says you just don't leave it in place if you don't touch it.. its when you go to remove it thats an issue.but these are what your looking at with distressed assets and you just have to pay accordingly.. no old fixer is going to be just lip stick other wise it would not be value add..

And you have to worry about a special assessment absolutely wrecking you.Ran, just throwing some cold water at you here - on first blush, this looks like it is a very, very bad investment deal.ETA: this is not directed @Ran specifically, but it appears nobody on this threat has considered any expenses beyond mortgage.

On first blush, most appear to only offer a 70% LTV which is lower than I hoped for.. wish I had a good relationship with a local lenderI believe the properties are worth ~$155,000 each, but that is tied to the appraiser.
