I'm not sure if the qualification requirements are similar or not but I would assume they would be a bit stricter and tighter on a home loan than an automobile.

Someone getting into REI using the STR to create a positive cashflow can only expect (2) as a natural result, not only from the community taking action against businesses operating in residential neighborhoods, but also economic reversals where the travel industry takes a hit.BTW: Tourism has been with us since the automobile and communities thrived a long time before the advent  of STRs.The NIMBY principle is heavily at work on this subject and historically, has been effective and successful in managing change.

I have told them that it was an act of God and that is what their insurance for their automobile is for.

There'll be separate insurance policy for each of your rental properties, your homeowner, plus your automobiles.

It actually does happen in the heavy equipment business, trucking, automobiles, and probably boats.

They are like automobiles, they depreciate the day they drive off the lot.Consider building on wheels and selling outright to buyers.

I have:- Personal automobile insurance- One property with home insurance (both under my LLC)Would I get the umbrella policy under my auto insurance and have it cover the property, or do i get the policy on the LLC's home insurance policy, or is it a separate policy altogether?
