I bought this , in Pasadena for 130K  the inside was worse , This is a year later , Wasnt easy , its a duplex , each side  $ 1300. mo      Its in a Blue ribbon school district and a B neighborhood .  

Especially since I'm investing in KC from out of state, I prefer properties near very good schools (like in Blue Springs), which should keep my house values stable if not appreciate slightly more than ones in less desirable neighborhoods.

They must have a humongous mailing bill to end up in my friends mailbox out of the blue.

My contractor will be busy but he has been crying the blues about no work

Sometimes they come out of the blue from someone or something you did months or even years ago. 

As do artists and blue collar workers.
