Popping my Investor Cherry!!!...
Bout to buy my first investment property!! I've been dabbling long enough....
It's been years....
dreaming ......and looking longingly .......at the market and others flourishing....
What enticed me to make the big bite?......
My own client, trying to sell his place!!!
As a realtor, I was a pleasantly surprised....
a past client (landlord) called me .....
out of the blue, he told me to please help him list..... as I started planning out marketing strategy.... I realized this was peanuts to my DREAM......
I spend all my time making pennys for others to LIVE their dream......
I LEASED this client's property for him, which he has been earning passive income with his eyes closed for years now......
my pleasant surprise now seemed cheap.... and I thought WHY NOT LET THAT BE ME!!!!!!.....
Anyway, had to share that story....obviously I'm a realtor and will be newbie buy n' hold investor....
My question is will my broker let me double side it on commission? as a seller and buying agent (me as the buyer as well)? I believe this is dual agency, but have never done this myself, especially when representing myself as a buyer....
Let me know if you have info on this....
