It sounds very similar to how we (Californians) talk about Chinese and other foreign investors who throw down ridiculous all cash offers in the Bay Area.

As you've discovered, many traditional lenders won't work with US borrowers who have only foreign earned income.

I have a Chinese foreign exchange student interested in renting my property.

Personally, I have foreign investors on my projects and I'm quite conservative with projections, but always looking for local intel to make my numbers more accurate.
