Refinancing as a Foreigner

Hello All, I am an architect living in Singapore for the past 5 years. Prior to that, I lived in the Chicago area and own a condominium there since 2007. At the time of the purchase, the interest rates in U.S. were on the higher side so I locked in a 30 year fixed loan at 6.125%. Now that the interest rates are considerably lower, I am looking to refinance.

I have spoken to a few lenders in the Chicago area but they are unable to assist me as I am not a resident or citizen of the US. Does anyone have any advice on how I can refinance?

Thanks much for your guidance.
