Property Management for International Clients
Hi Everyone,
I am a real estate investor in Florida and I am interested in starting a property management company in Florida. My target market will be foreigners that own or are looking to owning a property in Florida. I am not going to be selling any properties. My goal is to work with them and help them make the best choice. I will assist with the tenant screening and I will handle any issues that arise regarding the property for a monthly fee.
I have read in some places that I need a real estate broker license but, I do not plan on acting as a broker. I want to establish a company that represents the homeowners since they do not live in the US. Should purse a consulting type of business or can I simply establish a property management company with certain limitations since I do not plan on acting as a real estate broker?
Thanks
