I have a number of properties on the near southwest side that cash flow comfortably, so it's definetly doable, just depends where you are looking.

@Ned Carey  The tax foreclosures as well as mortgage foreclosures in southwest Ohio are very competitive today too. 

It's much easier to scale and we most certainly have a large tenant pool here even though population isn't rising like the southwest.
