We are all physicians but in a field that is considered "lower compensated" in medicine (Pediatrics) so it is hard to come up with some of these larger minimums, and some are not as interested in having such a higher portion of their investments dedicated to real estate, but still want the diversification.

This is going to severely curtail what Specialist physicians make, causing many of them to sell their practices (as they are already doing).When I advise banks about the MOB (medical office building) market, I always tell them to make sure that they get personal guarantees from the physicians to protect themselves, otherwise, they could be left holding an empty professional corporation as the physician moves on to sell the practice.
