I thought this was just about as good as it gets, and that I was King of the Hill.The problems with being a landlordI must admit: even then, certain aspects of being a landlord did not make me feel like a “lord” or king at all.

Hello @David Geiger, TI allowance is "Tenant Improvement" allowance that generally Land Lord gives to the new incoming tenant towards thier interior build-out expenses in order to setup the space prior to opening for business as part of lease negotiation.
