In general, when I've called Cobb County, I've found it really depends on who you talk to, some of the people there are knowledgeable and helpful and some really don't have a clue and are not very customer-service-oriented.

Likewise, loan points are amortized over the life of the loan and I have them in a separate sub-table of the fixedAssets, but unless they pull up the original journal entry you can't tell which loan they pair with, and it seems like a stretch for the CPA to track down that the loan was refinanced and hence all the remaining depreciation should be taken now.

At least where I am located you don't need a GC license to get insurance and all subs would be licensed and have workers comp (requirement for permitting).Â
