During the spring of COVID, many states saw a decrease in house sales, but speaking for Southwest Florida we have seen such a large increase since then that our Year Over Year sales and leasing is actually set to be higher than 2019.

We're always looking to grow our investor base so if you'd like to dabble in the Southwest (Arizona and New Mexico), I'd love to connect with you. 

I wonder if that price point would be better suited to the southwest markets.

Some background on me, my fiancée and I make a combined income of around $170k and we live in southwest Austin, 10min from downtown.

There are a few great investment neighborhoods just south-west of where you're describing, I wouldn't be surprised to see that head north-east to a next up-and-coming area considering its proximity.

Periodically explore opportunities in the Midwest, Southeast & Southwest parts of the US.

I'd like to target the southwest side (Little Village/Gage Park/McKinley Park and surrounding areas) of Chicago or the far Northwest (Albany Park and surrounding area).
