If it were me I'd start by calling the head Office worker at the tax office, but not reveal where the lot is or any exact info about it, (not say that it hasn't been paid for 60 years) just say not paid for several years...and ask how to own it...You don't want to have it sharked from you by anyone, including the tax office workers or their friends.If the tax info is online, it might not be listed because it's so old.Austin has stuff like this, but every one I've seen has liens for tons more than the value.
