He wants to sell it to me because he is old school and believes in friendships and only wants me to have it.

My goal is is to have at least one property under my belt by the end of this year rather it be be through wholesaling, owner financing, subject to, or however the deal may present its self at the time.I am glad I found a sight where I can build friendships or even partners to answer questions that I might not know.

A no nonsense guy who believes in Giving Back and without this view on life, relationships, family and friendships within his community - I may not have joined.

I combat it by focusing on my friendships, staying caught up with friends, so having a core network of friends who just like you for you, where you can just be you-- is the most important thing IMO.  

I would ask them if they fear their professional relationships are creating a possible conflict on personal relationships....if there is any hesitation to answer find a new agent to salvage the friendship.

Many have formed friendships with myself or the owner and think that they can get special treatment and all.

On the other hand, people with strong lifelong friendships who talk to each other and figure out they're overpaying for rent...more of them here than most places I've lived.There is also very much a root of unpretentious humility that I like about this town.
