Newbie from Middletown NY

Hi BiggerPockets world I am a newbie to real estate my name is Carlos and I am full time employee as New York City Police officer and have been so for 10 years. I am originally from Bronx Ny now living in Middletown NY. I am trying to tap into the Hudson valley market. I have a burning desire to learn as well as grow in the real estate industry just need that one mentor to take me under his wing and guide me. I have taken the necessary steps to educate my self in the world of real estate by reading books and attending seminars. My goal is is to have at least one property under my belt by the end of this year rather it be be through wholesaling, owner financing, subject to, or however the deal may present its self at the time.I am glad I found a sight where I can build friendships or even partners to answer questions that I might not know. I truly believe I stumbled on this sight for a reason and I intend to utilize it.
