Where can we get firewood, how do I turn on the fireplace, where are the good hiking trails, any suggestions for dinner, can the cabin sleep 12, you say no dogs but I can bring my dog, etc. etc. etc.

All have fireplaces that aren't used (any advice on these?).  

Estimate for rehab:Painting - Touch up-Paint "ALL", walls, closets, pantry, Interior & Exterior doors, stair railing & banisters, fireplace mantel, interior & exterior trim, ceilings and trim as needed.

When I moved in the house was still a mess.no hot water for the first month, flickering lights, a chimney that had ripped away from the roof, leftover evidence of previous tenants cooking in the fireplace breakers randomly flipping off whether the appliance was on or not more than 24 maintenance requests in 4 months the last one being and  flames and Sparks shooting out of the main breaker box when I tried to flip the breaker back on.

Does it have to do anything with the structure, fireplace at some homes, or something else?

Is it unreasonable to request that a guest use my fireplace (wood is provided) until the issue is resolved?
