You can trim that peg to make it fit, but guess what those "peg shavings" represent as applied to REI?

Quite outrageous when you take into account that it's on the second floor and doesn't benefit from any hedge trimming, among other services.

@Perry IvyDepending on where the panel is located you might just paint the cover over it the same colour was your wall or, if using near shaded trim, the same as the trim.

Often it is just trim, door frames and such that are lead.

If you start doing work by taking off trim or demoing a part of a room the plaster tends to crumble.

Little extras when I am servicing a unit anyway (like a new toilet seat or faucet or porch light unexpected), greeting cards at holidays, common areas decorated for the season or trimming a tree, weeding, etc. without being asked.
