I wish I had known about BP two years ago when I was seriously considering buying multi-family in SoCal.After reading and re-reading every single post on this thread, my tentative plan is to pursue both of the options I originally laid for myself, but making the priority finding and putting 3.5% down on an Orange County or San Diego plex and living in it for a year.
