Hi all,

I am really excited to join the Bigger Pockets community. After searching numerous real estate sites it has been really refreshing to find one that is not constantly selling me on the next big thing or whatever other course they have for sale. There is a wealth of knowledge here that I have not seen anywhere else and it has been really eye opening to see the level of support that everyone gives to others in the forums, it is truly amazing.

I first got excited about real estate investing through a required reading book for my college, Rich Dad, Poor Dad. It really resonated with me and showed me a whole new world I had not ever though about. After trying wholesaling as a sophomore and not liking the transactional income approach I am starting to look into investing in a college town near where I live and renting/sandwich leasing to students and families, which is about an hour south of where I go to school.

I am really looking forward to learning and soaking up as much knowledge as possible and looking forward to meeting everyone here on the forum.

Thanks for everything you guys have taught me already,

Nate
