Hi everyone! My name is Michael Mey and I am a HVAC Engineer from Waltham, Ma looking to jump into Real Estate Investing! I have always had a interest in Real Estate Investment and now after 5 years behind a desk as a engineer, I am finally making the decision to build my own dreams by getting started! I want to learn and network  as much as possible and get started with wholesaling properties and eventually flipping and buy and hold residential properties for rental cash flow.

Hey @Michael Mey, welcome to BP.

I'm from Framingham and also new to investing but have found a ton of information on BiggerPockets forums. I also go to the Black Diamond networking event once a month in Waltham. I would highly recommend you do that as well. You will meet people that have a lot of knowledge and don't mind sharing it with you. To say the least it will get you in the "real estate investing state of mind" very quickly. There are some great people here on BP that i have met at networking events (@Ann Bellamy , @Shaun Reilly , @Aaron Montague , @Justin Silverio ). They are all local and not far from where you live so i recommend you get in touch with them.
