It would by awesome to start a BP NZ connection for info on our market, there is so much involved in it, even more so in ChCh because of the earthquakes and massive land damage but within that is opportunities so I'm looking, I have to dig deeper, houses here are only worth buying if you intend on living in them, market value is too high therefore you are in the negative for any ROI...so I'm looking for duplex plus!...

If you're going the umbrella insurance route, make sure it will cover you for several things including just the routine slip and fall (like mold or earthquake).
