Hi from Wellington, New Zealand

Hi guys,

I've been living in Wellington NZ for the last 7 years, but am originally from Los Angeles. 

At the moment, I'm in the information gathering phase and looking to see if it makes sense to invest in real estate here in NZ and what the best approach would be. This would be my fist step into active investment, so I want to take it a bit slow. Part of it is trying to see how the advice on BP translates to NZ and what location specific issues there are.

I would love to talk to anyone who's active in the market here or has any other advice for someone in my situation.
