That's my thoughts.I've had international student roommates who had no credit before, but they had plenty to verify themselves with (tax stubs, driver's license, work reference, etc.).In some countries, it is considered a cultural shame to pay rent late.

Comparing Chinese Toys to German Toys is like comparing Chinese Beer to German Beer, it is not like a newbie landlord compared to someone managing thousands of houses.The TRUTH here is that someone who has scanned thousands of credit reports will know MORE about a potential tenant, in ten seconds than Joe Landlord will after studying a credit report for an HOUR.
