Just for reference: quality investment duplexes start at about 200-250k, most house hackers (owner occupants) choose 300-350k after seeing the entire range, top end is about 450k.Being succesful with low end properties is possible but requires strong people skills, hands on management and being handy is certainly no disadvantage!
