I see it as limiting your amount of people interested greatly, then probablly never seeing that stuff again, If they can afford the insane deposit youd probablly want to charge, they'd probablly rather buy there own stuff, that fits there taste.

So in the example I gave, the property would usually sell for at least $85K; most would see it as an opportunity to spec the property to their taste, and wouldn't be put off.
