What I decided to do was work in what I was interested in and it led me to be an experienced real estate agent specializing in wholesaling off market properties in PA region specifically Philadelphia and surrounding areas such as Montgo, Delco etc.

You came along last year and bought the property for $300,000 as an investment property.So in year one, your taxes were based off the previous owner's purchase price of the $100,000 plus any annual tax increases since they owned it.  

The first 2 kicked off without a hitch, and the experience has been positive, so I decided to move forward with others.

In my experience, there are a range of starting-off experiences, but one's experience is not always indicative of someone's desire/drive/commitment to pursue and thrive in real estate. 

You can learn just about anything you need to complete a small project off YouTube and with the right tools.  

Been doing wholesaling off and on with little success but hopefully more time to devote to that shortly.

Paid platforms often offer additional features like market analytics, off-market property leads, and filters for investor-specific criteria, giving them a leg up over free options.Exactly, most platforms have to offset cost somewhere because of how expensive it is to keep the data up to date.
