I applied for a loan with a local bank after going through numerous channels with the major bans and finding out that was not an option. 

We have engaged an amazing bookkeeping company that has numerous real estate clients.

I had numerous offers on the building and each realtor knew that I was paying no more than 1 1/2% commission.

I am considering out-of-state and have looked at numerous markets (Birmingham, Kansas City, Baltimore, etc).

We've got Walmarts, movie theaters, a bowling alley, a lake, tons of restaurants, etc. 

Hey Everyone,So I've been tediously drafting up my real estate business plan and have been doing numerous research on my particular strategy.

I only see that scenario panning out in the movies...

There's numerous issues; hole in floor and hole in wall, outdated kitchen, ceiling tile is coming off in portions, metal roof that screws need to be replaced etc...

I know there are numerous groups that would oppose such a move (even in Texas) so I'm looking for anyone that may have experience with this strategy and can offer advice on the hurdles I would be faced with.
