Now that they've missed two reporting periods I'm wondering if/what action I should take.

Year 1-3.We have 4 kids all older between the two of us.Our ultimate goal is retirement and generational wealth.Each kid will inherit one duplex and we want to teach them as much as possible.Does this sound like a good plan,Or am I missing anything?

Last week I received a letter from my insurance company stating they were going to discontinue my policy due to the current condition of the property (missing siding) and due to the fact that I am not currently living there (which is not true).I contacted my insurance broker and due to the fact my current insurance company disclosed the cancellation, they could not find another company that would insure the property.I just filed a dispute with the state.

For example, there's an Employment Verification Form, Forwarding Address Form for Deposit Refund, and so forth, that you can request your tenant to fill out.I want to make sure I'm not missing anything (as well as protecting myself) but also don't want to over-burden the tenant. 

I keep portable AC units for tenants to borrow, so are using one of those to cool the bedroom.I have at least 20 trees down at one property with land and they missed the house but landed on my storage building.
