The City of Norfolk actually has some legislation coming out that doesn't necessarily *limit* STRs, per se, but the legislation is making it so that if you have an STR property, 1) You have to get in front of the local civic league for a meeting with them and they will give their recommendation to the city of Norfolk.

The connections were fantastic, and overall it was an expensive, but good investment.Compared to this year's PaperSource, I thought IMN was much more big league in terms of crowd/topics/ideas/meetings/etc, but PaperSource was really helpful for me to get my feet wet.Just my 2 cents on the compare and contrast of the last note events I went to...I'm planning on going to Note Expo in November.
