imo, would take 3 life times.However, Detroit represents a big time crap shoot, like snake-eyes on a come out roll - - guttize bet but if it pays off, it does so big time! 

They're the same people that would have been snake-oil salesmen if this were a few years ago. 

I do everything myself.  2 exceptions.1. anything requiring a sewer snake. 

Automation will not get a snake out of the dryer, or get your guests into your rental when they have lost their key or can't figure out how to operate a key pad.  

Nothing but snake oil salesmen.

You have a whole house to protect and tenting it is the only way to kill all the Brown Recluse and Black Widow spiders, cockroaches, palmetto bugs, rats, mice, snakes, possums etc.

But software does remove a snake cornered in the fireplace.  

If you can replace a faucet/outlet/ lock, install a door, or snake a drain, and show up on time, you'll be overwhelmed with business. if you work for another handyman for a year or two,or get in good with a local landlord, you'll have all the experience you need for a decent career.
