Mom got brain cancer and I need to be close to her, a job relocation, my kid got injured and is now permanently in a wheelchair and the old house isn't wheelchair friendly, old house burned down, etc, are what we're looking for.The other alternative, depending on how much it'll cost you, etc, would be to refinance the duplex into investment property financing with a closing concurrent to the FHA purchase closing.

Through no fault of their own, the 2nd hand smoker, especially in the days when airlines were allowing smoking, can develop and have been proven to have higher incidence of cancer.The "empirical cost" was not paid at all by the Tobacco companies and in fact, developed propaganda campaigns to mislead the public.After the mounting evidence reached a certain point, taxes on Cigarettes skyrocketed, for at least 2 reasons. 1) to discourage the use of cigarettes so you DON'T have an increase of getting cancer and 2) to help pay for some of the empirical costs associated with the healthcare costs.In the case of Investors following the OP's strategy is one that I have personally seen time and time again.

Sadly, he passed away in 2004, 6 weeks after being diagnosed with stomach cancer--which is what spurred my interest in medicine.I came across boxes of my dad's training materials and wonder how much of it is still reliable today.

I had one estate where the children decided not to probate the property of their father because he has cancer, their father owed several hundred thousand dollars to Doctors and hospitals, his estate was only worth about 70K$, so they just took the personal possessions they wanted and walked away.
